Clinical Aesthetic Practice: Anatomy, Ethics, Assessment & Patient Safety - 1/2 Day Online
This half-day online intermediate course is designed for licensed healthcare professionals who want to strengthen core clinical knowledge for safer aesthetic practice. It covers anatomy, patient assessment, ethics, and safety through narrated theory presentations. The course is not CME-accredited.
Attendees study skin structure and function, common dermatological conditions, Fitzpatrick skin typing, structured consultation, medical and psychological red flags, consent, documentation, infection control, complications, and professional boundaries. Case-based learning applies these principles to realistic patient scenarios, helping participants evaluate suitability, manage risk, and make ethical treatment decisions without live-model or practical injecting sessions.
Narrated presentations provide a structured online learning experience that can be revisited as course materials remain available. The course is intended to improve clinical judgment, consultation quality, and patient-safety awareness, creating a stronger theoretical foundation for responsible practice and continued future professional development.
